Thighs, knees, lower legs, the tops of the feet and toes — in one visit for one price. Buttocks and bikini are separate areas, for example the Brazilian: with legs and underarms it's 685.95 zł per visit (−15% for 3 areas).

Yes. “Lower legs or thighs” is one area of your choice — lower legs or thighs, always with the knees: 299 zł. If you want both, choose full legs: 419 zł, with feet and toes included.

Usually 6–8. At first the gaps are 8–10 weeks, then they get longer as the hair grows back more slowly and more sparsely. If you only want to reduce the amount of hair, 4–5 sessions are usually enough.

Every 8–10 weeks at the start — leg hair grows more slowly than underarm or bikini hair. From around the 3rd–4th session we book by actual regrowth: if it's too early, I'll tell you to wait. A session done too early hits few hairs in the growth phase, so it does less.

It's a comfortable treatment: on a scale of 1 to 5, clients usually feel a 2–3 — like a light micro-current, a rubber-band snap or gentle pinpricks. 360° contact cooling chills the skin with every pulse, and I adjust the settings for each part of the leg. Ankles and the lower shin can feel a little more noticeable; knees usually feel no different. Feel any discomfort? Say so and I'll change the settings straight away.

Yes. Even with full XL coverage, hair comes back in patches — not every hair is in the growth phase, and each follicle has its own rhythm. That's why at the 2nd or 3rd session one spot can grow back faster than another. It evens out by the end of the course — the result is even across the whole leg.

In our practice, no. Legs usually need as many sessions as underarms — 6–8 — and you see a difference from the first visits. Only the gaps are longer: 8–10 weeks at the start, because leg hair grows more slowly, so the course takes longer on the calendar. Yes. The dots come from shaving, irritation and ingrown hairs: the razor irritates the skin, coarse hairs get cut and grow in, and the skin dries out. Laser removes the cause — there's less and less hair, and the dots go with it. Moisturising helps too: I give you aloe after every session. In our practice, after 3–4 sessions the skin becomes smooth and glossy.

Because treated hairs don't disappear straight away. Over 7–21 days the skin pushes them out — they look like regrowth, but they come out easily in the shower or with a gentle scrub. Don't pluck them. Real new growth is hair that was resting on the day of the session — which is why you need a course.

No. The laser works on hairs that are in the growth phase on the day of the session. The rest are resting and wake up a few weeks later — that's the next batch, not a failure. That's why a course is 6–8 sessions. So we don't judge the result on the day of your visit — we invite you exactly when the next batch has grown in. We judge it at peak smoothness, about 3 weeks after a session: if you stay smooth longer than before the course, or the hair grows back finer, lighter and sparser, the laser is working. Our guarantee is based on the same check.

Rarely, and only small ones. Sometimes a shedding hair gets stuck at the opening of the follicle and leaves a tiny dot that clears on its own. Keep the area clean for the first 24 hours and use a gentle scrub after a few days. And don't plan a long journey in the first 24 hours where the area will rub.

Yes, it's worth it. A gentle scrub helps shedding hairs come out and lowers the risk of ingrowns. Start 5–7 days after the session and do it once or twice a week — not on irritated skin, and not later than 3–5 days before your next session. Your aftercare kit includes enzyme powder: mix a little with water in your palm into a light foam, apply gently for 30–60 seconds without rubbing, rinse and moisturise.

Yes, shaving with a razor is fine. Just don't remove hair from the root: waxing, sugaring, epilators and tweezers take away the laser's target. If you've been waxing or epilating, stop 4 weeks before your first session.

If the hair has pigment — yes. In our practice, fair hair on the thighs does clear — just a little more slowly than dark hair. Blond and light brown hair responds well, and we've had successful courses on legs, arms and underarms. Laser doesn't work on grey, white or red hair or on vellus hair. At the free consultation I'll do a few test pulses on your thighs with settings for your hair, and over 2–4 weeks you watch whether it falls out — shedding is the sign the laser is working. All before you buy anything.

In our practice, a little more slowly than on the rest of the leg. The skin on the knees is thicker, often darker and curved, and the hair grows in different directions. So I combine XL with the small S handpiece (1 cm²) and adjusts the settings. By the end of the course the knees catch up with the rest of the leg.

We treat all year round, but not on a fresh tan. After the session, no tanning for 5–7 days and SPF on bare legs. That's why autumn or winter is the easiest time to start — you'll fit in about 4 sessions before summer.

Spider veins and small veins usually aren't a problem. We go around clearly bulging varicose veins. With thrombosis, inflamed veins, swelling or skin changes on the legs we don't treat — see a doctor first. I make the final decision at the consultation, after looking at your legs.

We don't treat during pregnancy (here's why). Your period doesn't get in the way of leg sessions; if you've also booked a bikini, you can move it or have it done with a tampon.

For years. A hair the laser has destroyed won't grow back. Over time, dormant follicles can wake up — that happens with any hair removal method, and sooner with hormonal changes or hormonal medication. Then a maintenance session is all you need: if you've done the full course with us, it costs 30% less.

It did work. Single hairs after a course come from follicles that were dormant, or new ones your body has switched on — for example because of hormones. That's minimal regrowth, not a failed course: one maintenance session sorts it out, and after a full course with us it costs 30% less.

We cover the tattoo and go around it; the laser doesn't work over it. The rest of the leg is treated as usual.

No. We cover moles with a white paste or pencil, and the laser skips them.

No. The laser uses infrared light at 808 and 940 nm — non-ionising radiation (ICNIRP). It doesn't carry enough energy to damage the DNA in your cells, the way X-rays and sunbed UV do. The light hits the pigment in the hair follicle a few millimetres under the skin and turns into heat. A review of research on lasers and IPL found no evidence of a credible cancer risk (Lasers in Medical Science, 2017).
