Which applicator do we use on the face?
The face calls for precision, so we use the S head (1 cm²) — smaller than XL, but concentrated: the same energy is delivered over a smaller surface, giving a higher power density exactly where it's needed.
Why is this area for men only?
At LASERRIX we don't perform facial laser hair removal for women — thin, light or hormone-dependent facial hair carries a risk of stimulation, meaning it can trigger increased hair growth instead of reducing it. To protect our clients' safety, we don't offer this treatment for women. We'll cover this decision in more depth in a separate article soon.
You don't have to endure pain to see results — the result will be achieved either way, just comfortably. The MeDioStar Monolith laser cools the skin before, during and right after each pulse (a 360° contact cooling system built on patented Peltier technology), which noticeably reduces the sensation of pain, especially on sensitive areas.
If the sensation feels too intense during the treatment — say so immediately, on the spot. Parameters are chosen individually, not from a single template for everyone.

Yes — for men we most often work on the neck, jawline and beard area, using a medical laser with individually chosen settings.
Typically 6–8 sessions, with 4–6-week intervals early in the series — the face is among the areas with the shortest intervals. The intervals above apply to the start of the series. After roughly the 3rd session, we stop following a fixed weekly grid — from then on we work according to how the hair actually regrows, because everyone's hair growth cycle is different and can't be predicted week-to-week in advance. We'll cover why intervals vary so much from person to person in a separate article soon.
We will not treat freshly tanned skin, and some medications or skin conditions in the area rule the session out. We check all of it at the free consultation before your first treatment — we ask about medication, tanning, skin condition and dermatological history, and only set the laser parameters after that conversation.
