Yes — the whole chest for one price. The shoulders (front and side) and the stomach are separate areas at 199 zł each, and the back of the shoulders belongs to the back. I mark the exact borders on your skin before the first session.

Yes. Thinning out the chest is a normal goal for us: usually 3–5 sessions instead of the full course of 6–8. After each session we look at the result together, and you decide when it's enough.

Usually 3–5. After the very first session the hair grows more slowly, and every session after that leaves less of it. The big XL handpiece covers the whole chest evenly, with no missed strips — the basis of a natural-looking thin-out.

Not unless you want to. You choose how far to go: fully smooth, clearly less, or keep your natural pattern and remove only what bothers you — the hair on your shoulders, for example. A thinned-out chest still looks masculine, just neater.

Removed follicles don't come back, so we start sensibly: you can thin out further at any later visit, but you can't add hair back. If you're not sure, start with the shoulders or a light thin-out.

Usually 6–8. At first every 6–8 weeks, then less often — based on how your hair actually grows back. We never book sessions just in case: if the hair hasn't grown back yet, I'll tell you to wait. If you don't see a noticeable difference after 3 sessions, we refund their cost.

No. The laser works on hairs that are in the growth phase on the day of the session. The rest are resting and wake up a few weeks later — that's the next batch, not a failure. That's why a course is 6–8 sessions. So we don't judge the result on the day of your visit — we invite you exactly when the next batch has grown in. We judge it at peak smoothness, about 3 weeks after a session: if you stay smooth longer than before the course, or the hair grows back finer, lighter and sparser, the laser is working. Our guarantee is based on the same check.

No. Even with full XL coverage, hair comes back in patches — not every hair is in the growth phase, and each follicle has its own rhythm. It evens out by the end of the course.

Around the nipples and breastbone it can feel a bit more distinct than on the rest of the chest, but it's still comfortable: on a 1–5 scale clients usually feel a 2–3. There I use the small S handpiece and work around the nipple itself. 360° contact cooling cools your skin with every pulse, and I set the chest, shoulders and stomach separately.

Yes. We work around the tattoo — the laser never goes over ink. I mark its edge and treat the rest of the area as usual. The hair on the tattoo itself stays. Show it to me at the consultation and we'll agree the area before the session.

No. The laser removes hair, not sweat glands, so you sweat just the same. The difference is elsewhere: sweat doesn't collect in your chest hair.

Rarely, and only small ones. Sometimes a shedding hair gets stuck at the opening of the follicle and leaves a tiny dot that clears on its own. Keep the area clean for the first 24 hours and use a gentle scrub after a few days. And don't plan a long journey in the first 24 hours where the area will rub.

Ideally in autumn or winter. The course takes several months, and you need to avoid a fresh tan before sessions. Start now and you'll have 4–5 sessions behind you by June — and thinning out fits in before summer.

The happy trail is a separate area — 99 zł. You can remove just the line, do the whole stomach (199 zł, line included) or ask for the line to stay. Before the session we'll suggest how to make the transition look natural.

Because of hormones — androgens. The follicles on the chest, stomach and back respond to them and, with age, turn fine, light hairs into thick, dark ones. That's normal and doesn't mean you have high testosterone. It's also why some men get new hair years later — then a maintenance visit is enough.

If you shave your chest every few days, get bumps or simply prefer less hair — yes. Laser ends the scratchy skin after shaving and gives you control: fully smooth or just less. Not sure? Start with the shoulders or a chest thin-out.

It's a course of sessions, not a single visit. Grey, white and red hair won't respond, and you need to avoid a fresh tan before sessions. The decision lasts for years — which is why we first agree together how much hair should stay.

For years. Hair the laser has destroyed won't grow back. With age, new hair can appear on the chest, shoulders and back — that's natural follicle maturation and happens with any method. Then a maintenance visit is enough: if you completed a full course with us, it costs 30% less.

Yes — it helps with ingrown hairs: with fewer, finer hairs there's nothing to grow in. From our practice: after a course on the chest and back there are clearly fewer bumps and inflamed spots. Laser hair removal doesn't treat acne — that's a different problem.

Yes. It's 808 and 940 nm light, not radiation like an X-ray. It heats the hair pigment a few millimetres deep — it doesn't reach the heart or lungs. No studies link laser hair removal to cancer. We cover moles with white paste, and anything that worries you is checked by a dermatologist first.

No. The laser uses infrared light at 808 and 940 nm — non-ionising radiation (ICNIRP). It doesn't carry enough energy to damage the DNA in your cells, the way X-rays and sunbed UV do. The light hits the pigment in the hair follicle a few millimetres under the skin and turns into heat. A review of research on lasers and IPL found no evidence of a credible cancer risk (Lasers in Medical Science, 2017).
