Your situation

What brings you in?

We check first, then you decide

Dark blonde and light brown hair with pigment — we remove it, usually with 1–2 more sessions than dark hair. Very light blonde we assess at a free consultation: a few test pulses and 2–4 weeks to see whether the hair sheds. If the laser can't see it, we'll say so.

“I have very light hair, so at first I didn't expect such visible results. All the more pleasantly surprised I was by the effect after the very first visit…”

Sound familiar?

Thinking about your arms every time you wear short sleeves?

  1. 01

Dark hairs show every time you wear short sleeves.

  2. 02

You shave your forearms, and two days later the regrowth is prickly and even more visible.

  3. 03

Cream, bleach, wax — and the same again every week.

The laser works on follicles that are actively growing, so every session leaves less hair. New hairs come back finer and slower, and the next sessions catch them too. Forearms with elbows take about 20 minutes — a coffee break.

“After every visit I see results — the hair falls out, some of it doesn't grow back at all, and what still appears is much finer and lighter.”

Diana's story

“I used to be embarrassed by my own arms”

I had very dark hair on my arms. In short sleeves it showed straight away, so I'd rather keep them covered. It was one of the reasons I went for laser.

That's why I know how much an honest answer at the start matters. First I tell you whether the laser can see your hair — and only then do we begin.

Diana, founder and the only specialist at LASERRIX

Light hair

Will the laser see the hair on your arms?

The laser targets the pigment in the hair: the more there is, the easier it gets. So before you buy anything, we tell you honestly which group your hair belongs to.

Check your colour

Tap the photo that looks most like your hair. Then slide your finger across the photo to see it the way the laser does.

  1. We remove it

    • Black
    • Dark brown
    • Light brown
    • Dark blonde

In our practice it comes off well. The lighter the hair, the more likely you'll need 1–2 extra sessions and slightly longer gaps.

  2. We'll assess it at the consultation

    • Very light blonde

Diana does a few test pulses with settings for your hair. Over 2–4 weeks you check whether it sheds — shedding is the sign the laser worked. Then you decide.

  3. The laser won't work

    • Red
    • Grey and white
    • Vellus (peach fuzz)

This hair has no pigment for the laser to target. We'll tell you straight away and won't take your money for it.

Not sure which group you're in? Send a photo of your forearm in daylight — Diana will reply on WhatsApp.

“We decided to watch for shedding over 2–4 weeks, because my hair is very light.”

Forearms or full arms?

Most clients choose forearms with elbows — that's the hair you see in short sleeves. We add the upper arm only if real hair grows there, not just peach fuzz.

About 20 minutes. The most popular choice — and part of the women's PREMIUM package.

How it works

  1. 1

You have 3 sessions at LASERRIX

On the same arm area, at the intervals Diana sets.

  2. 2

We measure results at peak smoothness

We take a START photo at the studio. About 3 weeks after each session you send a photo of the area and tell us how many days it took before you reached for the razor again. Private — for comparison only.

  3. 3

    No noticeable difference?

We refund those 3 sessions. Just let us know before your 4th session.

If after 3 sessions on your arms at LASERRIX you see no noticeable difference in the amount, density or regrowth speed of the hair, we refund those 3 sessions. The guarantee doesn't cover grey, red, very light hair or peach fuzz — that's why with very light hair we start with a test. Full guarantee terms →

Client during laser hair removal at LASERRIX
Diana checks how you feel throughout the treatment

How does it feel?

Comfortable — from elbow to fingertips

On a 1–5 scale, clients usually feel a 2–3: like a light micro-current, the snap of a small rubber band or gentle pinpricks. The handpiece cools the skin before, during and after each pulse, and Diana adjusts the settings for each spot — hands and elbows feel different from forearms. Afterwards the skin may stay slightly warm and pink for a few hours — a normal reaction.

You don't have to put up with anything. Results come from well-chosen settings, not from how much you feel.

No surprises

Good to know before you start

  • Results for years

Hair the laser has destroyed doesn't grow back. Over time dormant follicles may wake up — for example with hormonal changes. Then a maintenance visit is enough: if you've completed a full course with us, it costs 30% less.

  • Sun and forearms

Forearms catch the sun even in winter. Before a session: no fresh tan or self-tanner. After: 5–7 days without tanning, and SPF. Tanned skin? Diana adjusts the settings or tells you when to come back.

  • After the session

Slight redness for a few hours is normal. Keep the skin moisturised — we give you aloe and SPF to take home. Something worries you? Message us on WhatsApp — Diana will reply the same day.

  • Ask anything

We show, explain and answer every question — no embarrassment, no judgement. You won't leave with a question unanswered.

Forearms — about 20 minutes, full arms — up to 30 minutes, the same for women and men. The first visit, with the consultation, takes a little longer.

What the client says — English translation

So first we cleanse the skin, and of course we take photos to compare before and after. Let's see if the gel is as cold as everyone says… It's fine. And now Diana will choose the ideal settings for me. It's absolutely nothing unpleasant — I can only recommend it.

The video is in Polish, with Polish captions.

How many sessions, and how far apart?

Usually 6–8 sessions, with lighter hair sometimes 1–2 more. On arms we start with 6–8 week gaps, then they grow longer — based on real regrowth, not a rigid calendar.

  1. 1 → 26–8 weeks
  2. 2 → 38–10 weeks
  3. 3 → 4about 3 months
  4. 4 → 53–4 months
  5. theneven less often

If the hair hasn't grown back enough yet, we'll tell you to wait. We never book sessions just in case.

Diana — founder and the only specialist at LASERRIX

Diana started out as a laser hair removal client herself. She paid, came back for more sessions, and instead of an honest conversation all she heard was “you need to come again”.

Laser hair removal on arms — questions and answers

Diana · LASERRIXanswers the questions she hears most often

How much is laser hair removal on arms in Wrocław?
Diana

Forearms — 199 zł per session, full arms — 299 zł, hands and fingers included. Prices are the same for women and men. In the 6+2 package forearms cost 1,194 zł, which is 149.25 zł per session, and you can pay for the package in two parts.

Will the laser work on the light hair on my arms?
Diana

If the hair has pigment — yes. Black, brown, light brown and dark blonde I remove with good results; lighter hair usually needs 1–2 more sessions. Very light blonde I check with a test at the consultation: a few pulses and 2–4 weeks to see whether the hair sheds. Laser doesn't work on red, grey, white hair or peach fuzz — then I'll tell you straight away and we don't start a course.

What's the difference between light hair and peach fuzz?
Diana

Light hair is longer, has colour and shows against the light — the laser can catch it. Peach fuzz (vellus hair) is very fine, short and almost transparent, with no pigment — laser doesn't work on it. Not sure which you have? Send a photo of your forearm in daylight on WhatsApp.

Forearms or full arms?
Diana

Forearms with elbows are usually enough — that's the hair you see in short sleeves. Choose full arms if you have visible hair above the elbow too, or on your hands and fingers. If your upper arms only have peach fuzz, I'll tell you it's not worth paying for.

Does the full-arms price include hands and fingers?
Diana

Yes. Full arms means upper arms, elbows, forearms, hands and fingers — 299 zł, no extra charge. Hands on their own cost 99 zł if you're not doing the rest.

How many sessions do arms need?
Diana

Usually 6–8. Lighter hair sometimes needs 1–2 more, with slightly longer gaps. At first sessions are every 6–8 weeks, later less often — based on how the hair actually grows back.

How long does laser hair removal on arms take?
Diana

Forearms — about 20 minutes, full arms — up to 30 minutes, the same for women and men. I treat forearms with the XL 10 cm² handpiece, hands and fingers with the small S handpiece.

Will I see results after 1 session?
Diana

Yes, the first results usually show after 1–3 weeks, when the treated hair falls out. Noticeably less hair comes after a few sessions. If you see no difference after 3 sessions, we refund them. Guarantee terms →

How much does the whole course on arms cost?
Diana

Forearms: 4+1 package — 796 zł (5 sessions), 6+2 package — 1,194 zł (8 sessions). Full arms: 4+1 — 1,196 zł, 6+2 — 1,794 zł. Forearms are also part of the women's PREMIUM package with underarms, Brazilian bikini and full legs — 849 zł per visit. You know the price up front; nothing gets added at the consultation.

What if the results are weak?
Diana

Then we pay. If after 3 sessions on your arms you see no noticeable difference in the amount, density or regrowth speed of the hair, we refund those 3 sessions. We measure results at peak smoothness, about 3 weeks after a session, from photos. The guarantee doesn't cover red, grey, very light hair or peach fuzz — that's why with very light hair I start with a test.

Will arm hair grow back thicker after laser?
Diana

No. After the course there's less hair, and it's finer. Shaving doesn't thicken hair either — the blunt tip only feels coarser. Stimulated growth is very rare and mostly affects the face and neck; elsewhere studies put it at 0.08% of cases.

Can I start in summer? What about a tan?
Diana

I treat all year round, but not over a fresh tan. Forearms get more sun than other areas, so with tanned skin I'll adjust the settings or tell you when to come back. After a session: 5–7 days without tanning, and SPF on your arms. The easiest time to start is autumn — you'll fit in about 4 sessions by summer.

I have a tattoo on my arm — what happens to it?
Diana

I tape the tattoo over and keep about 1 cm away from its edge. The laser doesn't touch it, so the tattoo won't fade. The rest of the arm I treat as usual.

Does laser hair removal on arms hurt?
Diana

It's comfortable: on a 1–5 scale clients usually feel a 2–3 — like a light micro-current, a rubber-band snap or gentle pinpricks. The handpiece cools the skin with every pulse, and I adjust the settings for each spot. If you feel discomfort, just say so and I'll change them right away.

Do I need numbing cream?
Diana

No. The laser cools the skin with every pulse, and I set it to how you feel: on a 1–5 scale we work at 2–3. You don't have to put up with anything to get results.

Can I have the session right after the consultation?
Diana

Yes, if your arms are shaved, there are no contraindications and there's time in the schedule. You can also come just to talk — the consultation is free and comes with no obligation.

How do I prepare my arms?
Diana

Shave your arms 3–12 hours before the visit. On the day, clean skin: no lotion or self-tanner. If you've been waxing, epilating or plucking, stop 4 weeks before the first session. How to prepare →

Can I shave my arms between sessions?
Diana

Yes, a razor is fine. Just don't remove hair at the root: wax, epilators and tweezers take away the laser's target. Put hair bleach aside too — the laser needs pigment.

What should I avoid after a session?
Diana

For 24–48 hours: no sauna, hot baths, swimming pools, sunbeds or intense workouts, and no scrubs, acids, retinol or self-tan on your arms. Avoid the sun for 7–14 days and put SPF 50 on bare forearms. I give you aloe and SPF after the session (full aftercare).

Why does the hair look like it's still growing after a session?
Diana

Because treated hair doesn't vanish at once. Over 7–21 days the skin pushes it out — it looks like regrowth but comes away easily in the shower or with a gentle scrub. Don't pluck it with tweezers.

How long does laser hair removal on arms last?
Diana

For years. Hair the laser has destroyed doesn't grow back. Over time dormant follicles may wake up, for example with hormonal changes — then a maintenance visit is enough. If you've completed a full course with us, it costs 30% less.

What are the downsides of laser hair removal?
Diana

It takes a course, not one visit: usually 6–8 sessions a few weeks apart. You avoid the sun before and after sessions. It doesn't work on red, grey, white hair or peach fuzz. In return you get results for years instead of shaving every few days.

I've had laser on my arms before and the hair came back. Is it worth trying with you?
Diana

Usually, yes. There are several possible reasons: sessions too often, overly cautious settings, missed patches, but also very light hair or hormones. At a free consultation I'll look at your arms and tell you plainly what to expect. When laser didn't work →

Do men get their arms done too?
Diana

Yes. Same prices as for women: forearms 199 zł, full arms 299 zł. Dark, coarse hair is a good target for the laser. Tattoos I tape over and avoid.

Which laser do you use on arms?
Diana

Asclepion MeDioStar Monolith — a certified medical diode laser from Germany (808 + 940 nm, 360° contact cooling). I treat forearms and upper arms with the XL 10 cm² handpiece, the largest hair removal handpiece in the world, and hands and fingers with the small S 1 cm² handpiece. How the laser works →

I have moles on my arms. Is that a problem?
Diana

No. I cover moles with white paste or pencil, and the laser goes around them.

Can I have it during pregnancy?
Diana

We don't treat during pregnancy (why). After birth and breastfeeding you can continue the course.

Can laser hair removal cause cancer?
Diana

No. The laser uses infrared light at 808 and 940 nm — non-ionising radiation (ICNIRP). It doesn't carry enough energy to damage the DNA in your cells, the way X-rays and sunbed UV do. The light hits the pigment in the hair follicle a few millimetres under the skin and turns into heat. A review of research on lasers and IPL found no evidence of a credible cancer risk (Lasers in Medical Science, 2017). I cover moles with white paste, and any mark that worries you gets checked by a dermatologist first.

Who shouldn't have laser hair removal?
Diana

I don't treat during pregnancy, on a fresh tan, if you take medicines or use products that make skin sensitive to light, with active cold sores, inflammation or infection in the area, or over skin changes a doctor should look at first. If you tend to get keloid scars, I'm extra careful. At the consultation I ask about medicines and health and tell you straight whether we can start.
